Welcome to Seven Springs in beautiful Smithville, Tennessee!
We are thrilled to have you as our guest and want to ensure your stay is comfortable, enjoyable, and filled with unforgettable experiences. To help you make the most of your time here, we've put together this Welcome Book. Please take a moment to read through it and feel free to reach out if you have any questions or need further assistance.
Water supply: we are on a well, there is a hook up for standard hose. Please be sure to bring an extender or extra long hose, extended hose may be needed
Electricity: 50 amp hook up, please be sure to bring an extender or extra long cord.
Sewage: our sites are on septic, please read below for more details. Please be sure to bring an extender or extra long hose.
Trash: we do not have local trash pick up - please pack out what you pack in.
Wifi: We have DTC wifi service. No refunds will be given for any internet issues.

Please note - Our property is privately owned and we’re excited to share it with you, however we ask that you please treat it with the utmost respect. It is in a rural area and is a great place to enjoy nature. While staying at Seven Springs, there may be visitors from wildlife such as insects, birds, reptiles, animals, etc. We advise you to not leave children unattended either inside or outside. There are neighboring farm animals - do NOT pet, reach for or feed. Please be aware of the barbed wire and electric fence that line the back of the property. It WILL shock you.
Check-In and Check-Out:
Unfortunately we’re unable to accommodate late check out or early check in.
Check-in: Check-in is 12pm unless previously agreed upon prior to your arrival.
Check-out: Check out is promptly at 11am unless previously agreed upon.
Self-check-in instructions: Please back into your reserved RV site.
Rules & Guidelines:
Registration: All campers, guests and pets must be registered at the office upon arrival and prior to entering the campground. All fees are paid in advance. Registered campers are responsible for ensuring their visitors have properly registered at the office and that all camp rules are followed.
Parking: Registered guests must park on their assigned sites. We allow one (1) RV and two (2) operational vehicles per site. We do not allow boats, jet skis and/or box trailers to be parked on your site. Please contact the office to make the proper storage arrangements.
Guests: Facilities in the park are for use by registered guests only. There can be no more than a total of 6 people per site (maximum of 4 adults). All visitors must leave the property by 10:00pm if they are not a registered guest. Please register all overnight guests by 5pm with the office.
Your RV Site: The space you are renting is neat, clean and adequate for recreational vehicles. Campers are required to keep their sites in the same condition throughout your stay and must be in the same condition when you check out. Do not make any changes to the site without prior written consent from management. This includes decking, furniture and any physical changes to your site. Keep your site free of litter including, but not limited to, cigarette/cigar butts, animal droppings and debris. Do not let items accumulate under or around your RV. You may not sublease your site. No major vehicle repairs will be permitted at your site. The operation of a business on your RV site or our property is prohibited. No excessive ornamental items are allowed on your site.
RV AGE AND CONDITION: Seven Springs reserves the right to refuse any RV based on appearance. No rigs over 10 years of age will be accepted. We also do not accept live-in horse trailers, FEMA trailers or RVs with window air conditioners. Truck campers are accepted but must not be dropped from the truck.
DRUGS: The possession, sale or manufacturing of illegal drugs or paraphernalia is prohibited in all areas of the property.
SPEED LIMIT: Speed limit is 5 mph - NO EXCEPTIONS. Excessive speeding on the property will result in a first warning. If the infraction continues, we will ask you to leave the property. No refunds will be issued.
RV AND VEHICLE WASHING: RV and vehicle washing are prohibited without prior approval from the office.
QUIET HOURS: 10:00pm to 8:00am The quality of rest and relaxation of our guests is important to us. Please refrain from any loud noises and disturbances during this time period. All electronics (example: TVs, Radios and tablets) must be at a minimum volume. Also be aware that speaking voices can carry throughout the campground. If you are an early check-out, please be respectful of your neighbors as you ready your RV to continue your journey.
SMOKING: Smoking is permitted in your RV, at your campsite. Smoking is not permitted in any building, public space, laundry facilities or in any area where it may cause concern to your fellow campers. Do not dispose of your cigarette/cigar butts on the ground anywhere on the property.
CAMPFIRES: All campfires must be contained in a portable fire pit and never directly on the ground.
PETS: Our RV sites are pet friendly. Pet owners are exclusively responsible for their pets at all times. This park has a two (2) pet maximum for each site with no exceptions. Pets cannot be left unattended and must be on a leash when not in your RV. No pet will be allowed to roam free at any time. All pet droppings must be picked up immediately. Noisy and/or aggressive pets will not be allowed to stay. One warning will be issued before you will be asked to remove your pet from the property. Pets are not allowed in the laundry or any other indoor facility. You are completely liable for the actions of your pet in the event of any claims. Failure to comply with our pet rules will result in you being asked to leave the property. Outside fencing for your pets must be pre-approved by management.
GREY WATER: The discharge of grey water into the environment has been found to be a significant risk to public health. Grey water can act as a carrier for a number of bacteria approaching or exceeding what may be found in black water. Please make sure your waste water (grey water) outlets are connected to the sewer pipe and that all connections are secure and do not leak.
Toilets: Do not flush anything in your toilets except standard toilet paper. We are on a septic tank and flushing wipes or feminine products may cause extreme damages. If it is found that feminine products or wipes have been flushed and clog the septic system, you could be charged damages of up to $2,000.
GARBAGE: Please bag your garbage and dispose at the Keltonburg Trash Station located at 3563 Keltonburg Road, Smithville (Sunday – Closed / Monday through Saturday – 9 am – 6 pm). Trash should be taken weekly and should not pile up near or around RV site. PLEASE DO NOT BE A LITTER BUG!
ALCOHOL: This is a family park and the use of alcohol is limited to your own site and should not be brought into the common areas.
FIREWORKS: NO fireworks or sparklers of any kind are permitted. Shooting of any fireworks on the entire property is grounds for immediate removal from the park, with no refunds.
MINORS: Minors under the age of 18 should never be left alone on the campground property under any circumstances. Your children must be supervised at all times. Disregard for campground rules by minor children will result in immediate eviction without notice or refund.
MOWING: The grass is mowed and edged once a week in the spring and summer months and as needed in the winter months. While we make every effort to prevent damage to units, we are not responsible for damage to your RV, vehicles, golf carts or other property including your sewer line. If you have an approved fenced area for your pets, you are required to mow and edge that area as needed.
PRIVACY: Please respect the privacy of other campers by not walking between or through occupied sites. Use designated roads and pathways when walking.
Anyone exhibiting behavior that does not promote family values, such as excessive drinking, swearing, fighting or any other illegal activity will be removed from the campground. Violence or the threat of violence will not be tolerated. Display or discharge of any weapon on the campground will result in immediate eviction without refund.
Security and Cameras: We have exterior security cameras facing the main entrance, the RV sites, the main drive down the cabins, and on parking space between cabin 1 & 2 and 3 & 4 to maintain a safe and secure property.
Tents: Tents are not allowed on RV sites.

Boating and Water Sports:
Pates Ford Marina on Center Hill Lake is a short 10 minute drive from the cabins, offers a range of services and amenities for visitors. Here are some of the offerings you can expect:
Boat Rentals: Pates Ford Marina provides various options for renting boats, including pontoon boats, ski boats, and fishing boats. Renting a boat allows you to explore the lake and enjoy water activities at your leisure.
Covered Boat Slips: If you own a boat, Pates Ford Marina offers covered boat slips for long-term or seasonal rentals. These slips provide protection for your boat from the elements and allow for easy access to the lake.
Boat Storage: The marina provides boat storage facilities for those who prefer to keep their boats securely stored when not in use. This option is convenient for boat owners who may not have their own storage space.
Fuel Station: Pates Ford Marina features a fuel station where you can refuel your boat or other watercraft. This is convenient for longer trips or if you need to top up your fuel during your time on the lake.
Ship Store: The marina has a ship store where you can find essential boating supplies, snacks, beverages, ice, and other convenience items. It's a convenient stop for any necessities you may need for your time on the water.
Lakeside Restaurant: Pates Ford Marina is home to a lakeside restaurant that offers scenic views and a menu of delicious food and refreshing drinks. It's a great spot to relax, enjoy a meal, and soak in the beautiful surroundings.
Fishing: Center Hill Lake is known for its fishing opportunities, and Pates Ford Marina provides access to excellent fishing spots. Whether you're an avid angler or just want to try your hand at fishing, the marina is a great starting point.

Hiking and Nature Trails:
Burgess Falls State Park is a scenic 40 minute drive, but if you’re hunting for waterfalls, it may be worth it! Witness breathtaking waterfalls, including the 130-foot Burgess Falls.
Easy Hikes:
Hurricane Bridge Recreation Area Trail: This trail is located on the eastern side of Center Hill Lake and offers a relatively easy 2.6-mile loop. The trail takes you through a wooded area and leads to the Hurricane Bridge, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the lake and the surrounding countryside.
Edgar Evins State Park Trails: Edgar Evins State Park, located on the shores of Center Hill Lake, offers several easy hiking trails suitable for all ages and skill levels. The Highland Rim Nature Trail and the Millennium Trail are both short and provide a chance to explore the park's diverse flora and fauna.
Burgess Falls State Park: Although not directly adjacent to Center Hill Lake, Burgess Falls State Park is a short drive away and offers beautiful waterfall hikes. The main trail to the falls is approximately 1.5 miles round trip and provides views of multiple waterfalls along the way, including the impressive 130-foot Burgess Falls.
Rock Island State Park: Another nearby park worth visiting is Rock Island State Park. The Blue Hole Trail is an easy 0.3-mile walk that leads to a scenic swimming hole with crystal-clear waters. Additionally, the Great Falls Loop Trail is a flat, paved path that offers views of cascading waterfalls and the Caney Fork River.
Window Cliffs State Natural Area: Located east of Center Hill Lake, Window Cliffs State Natural Area features a moderate 4.4-mile trail. While it's slightly longer, the trail itself is relatively easy, with well-maintained paths and beautiful rock formations along the way, including the unique "window" formations.
Moderate Hikes:
Virgin Falls State Natural Area: Located northeast of Center Hill Lake, Virgin Falls State Natural Area offers a moderate 8-mile trail that leads to the stunning Virgin Falls. This hike takes you through diverse landscapes, including forests, creeks, and rock formations, and culminates in the breathtaking sight of a 110-foot waterfall.
Burgess Falls State Park: While the main trail to the falls at Burgess Falls State Park is an easy hike, the park also offers a moderate 1.5-mile Ridge Top Trail. This trail takes you through the park's wooded areas and provides scenic views of Center Hill Lake and the surrounding countryside.
Rock Island State Park: Rock Island State Park offers several moderate hiking trails that showcase the park's natural beauty. The Blue Hole Trail is a 1.5-mile loop that takes you through the park's unique geological features and offers views of the Caney Fork River. The Twin Falls Loop Trail is another moderate option, providing scenic views of Twin Falls and the Caney Fork River Gorge.
Window Cliffs State Natural Area: While the Window Cliffs hike also has a moderate section, it can be included here as it offers both moderate and more challenging portions. The 5.4-mile trail takes you through scenic woodlands, along creeks, and ultimately leads to the impressive Window Cliffs rock formations.
Harder Hikes:
Fiery Gizzard Trail: Located north of Center Hill Lake near Tracy City, the Fiery Gizzard Trail is a challenging 12.5-mile trail that takes you through rocky gorges, along waterfalls, and offers breathtaking views. It's known for its ruggedness and requires good physical fitness and proper hiking gear.
Savage Gulf State Natural Area: Located northeast of Center Hill Lake, Savage Gulf State Natural Area offers several challenging trails that traverse deep gorges and offer stunning overlooks. The Stone Door Trail is a popular choice, featuring a 3-mile loop that descends into the gorge and rewards hikers with panoramic views.
Virgin Falls State Natural Area: While previously mentioned as a moderate hike, the full trek to Virgin Falls is considered a more difficult endeavor. The trail covers around 9 miles of varied terrain, including steep ascents and descents. It's important to be prepared with sturdy footwear, plenty of water, and appropriate hiking gear.
Fall Creek Falls State Park: Although Fall Creek Falls State Park is not directly adjacent to Center Hill Lake, it offers challenging hikes that are worth considering. The park features multiple trails of varying difficulty, including the Alum Cave Trail, which is a strenuous 4.8-mile loop that takes you to the base of Fall Creek Falls.
Waterfalls:
Burgess Falls: Located in Burgess Falls State Park, this series of cascading waterfalls is a popular attraction. The main waterfall plunges 130 feet into the gorge below, and there are additional smaller falls along the river. It's approximately a 30-minute drive from Center Hill Lake.
Cummins Falls: Situated in Cummins Falls State Park, this waterfall is known for its picturesque beauty. It requires a moderately difficult hike to reach the falls, but the reward is worth it. The waterfall drops about 75 feet into a scenic swimming hole. It's approximately a 45-minute drive from Center Hill Lake.
Fall Creek Falls: Although not directly adjacent to Center Hill Lake, Fall Creek Falls is the tallest waterfall in the eastern United States and worth a visit. It's located in Fall Creek Falls State Park, about a 1.5-hour drive from Center Hill Lake. The waterfall drops an impressive 256 feet and offers stunning views.
Rock Island State Park: Rock Island State Park is home to multiple waterfalls along the Caney Fork River. Twin Falls, which consists of two side-by-side waterfalls, is a popular attraction. There are also other smaller cascades and rapids throughout the park. It's approximately a 30-minute drive from Center Hill Lake.

Smithville Golf Club, is an 18-hole course that provides a picturesque backdrop for a relaxing day of golf.

Foglight Foodhouse (Rock Island, TN) - Located approximately 20 minutes southwest of Smithville, Foglight Foodhouse is known for its eclectic menu featuring dishes made with locally sourced ingredients. They offer a range of options, including seafood, burgers, vegetarian dishes, and craft beers.
The Blue Porch (Woodbury, TN) - Situated about 25 minutes northwest of Smithville, The Blue Porch is a charming restaurant housed in a historic home. They serve Southern-inspired cuisine made with fresh, seasonal ingredients, including soups, salads, sandwiches, and daily specials.

WakeFest: If you happen to visit during the month of July, don’t miss WakeFest held at Pates Ford Marina just 10 minutes from Seven Springs. WakeFest is a community outreach event designed to promote the sport of wakeboarding.
